Venue

SAMS is an independent non-profit membership organisation founded in 1884 by Sir John Murray. Since then, SAMS has developed to an internationally established research centre studying all aspects of the marine system, providing education (BSc, MSc, MRes, PhD) and scientific knowledge for society, policy makers and business.

SAMS regularly hosts conferences, workshops and training events using on-site facilities (ca.120 delegates.)

Specially negotiated rates for BPS2019 are available at the Royal: £30.00 per night Bed and Breakfast or £35.00 per night Dinner Bed and Breakfast for single occupancy. (For  two guests in a double room it would be £60.00 per night Bed and Breakfast or £70.00 per night Dinner Bed and Breakfast).
